GLS-02 is a two-component, solvent-based screen printing ink specifically formulated for toughened (tempered or untoughened glass, ceramics and porcelain, ferrous and non-ferrous metal (even anodized or lacquered metal), aluminum, thermosetting plastics, chrome-plated parts and coated substrates. GLS-02 is also suitable for pad printing process.
SUBSTRATE EXAMPLES
Flat glass decoration, glass panels, glass and ceramic titles, monitors, mirrors, decoration of container glass such as cosmetic jars and flacons, glass bottles, chrome-plated parts such as chrome-plated writing utensil or panels, etc.
HIGHLIGHTS
High pigmentation, high hardness and good abrasion resistance, excellent leveling, excellent adhesion, excellent hot water resistance, excellent alcohol, alkaline and acid resistance.

USER INFORMATION
Mesh: all types of commercially available polyester fabrics. A mesh count between 80-420 is recommended.
Stencil: solvent resistant emulsions
Squeegee: 75-80 durometer hardness solvent resistant squeegees.
Coverage: dependent on ink viscosity, mesh size and hole configuration, depth of cliche / ink deposit, etc.
Ink Adjustment & Printing: it’s essential to add hardener in the correct quantity before printing, and stir homogeneously the ink mixture. The mixing ratio is 10% Hardener for black ink, and 8% for other colors. Once hardener is added, the ink & hardener mixture should be used up within 8 hours. If the mentioned times are exceeded, the ink’s adhesion and resistance may be reduced even if he ink still seems processable. It is recommended to allow the ink & hardener mixture to pre-react for 5 minutes before use. For multi-color prints, the different ink layer should be surface-dried before printing latter layer. Forced air drying (hot air blower or infrared lamps) of the surface after each color is recommended (about 200℃ for 2-3 sec) for quick printing sequences.
Drying & Curing Parameters: 10 min. to 15 mins. @ 140℃~150℃ for final hardness, or for at least 24 hours without forced air drying on ambient conditions. It’s dried by evaporation of the solvents and polymerization of the ink.
Cleanup: use GLSV-11 thinner for screen wash, or other solvent blends as recommended.
Handling & Storage: please refer to MSDS for safe handling. All personnel mining and handling this product must wear glove and eye protection. The shelf life for the ink in its original & sealed container is at least 12 months from date of manufacture if stored at a room temperature of 15-25℃. Under different conditions, particularly higher storage temperatures, the shelf life will be reduced.

REMARKS
Please note that mould release agent, sip additives or other oil contaminants on substrate should be detected and removed prior to printing. The final chemical and physical resistance of the ink can only be achieved after 36 hours at room temperature of 20℃ or 24 hours after baking process.
